Mobility PLUS Rehabilitation occupational therapist’s Carmen Aberle, Treena Radermacher, Megan Beck, and Staci Bartholomay are certified LSVT BIG providers who provide services for Gwinner, Lisbon, Enderlin, and Valley City, ND.  We also have Certified LSVT BIG PT staff in Gwinner with Staci Deibert, Jennifer Rath in Enderlin, Lisbon with Chuck Long, and Hawley with Amber Haak and Loriann Johnson.  LSVT BIG is a research-based exercise approach developed for people with Parkinson’s Disease.  Research has documented improved ratings on tests of motor functioning in people with Parkinson’s following treatment.

LSVT BIG treatment consists of:

• 16 sessions: 4 consecutive days a week for 4 weeks
• Individual 1 hour sessions with our therapist
• Daily homework practice
• Daily carryover exercises

Research suggests that you should NOT wait until you begin to experience disability, impaired function, or loss of balance to start exercised based occupational therapy.  LSVT BIG techniques train individuals with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions to use bigger movements anywhere, anytime in daily living.  This empowers individuals with the potential to keep moving and stay active.
